CONDITIONS TREATED

Beyond a Diagnosis & Endless Tests

The art of medicine is going beyond knowing the components of one’s health challenges and finding what order the pieces need to be addressed in to create a more effortless domino effect. Over the years, I have honed in on many pieces and customized the order of what gets addressed to the individual.

HERE ARE THE CONDITIONS I TREAT

GI
ISSUES

We are what we eat, but we are more so what our digestive tract is able to absorb. When altered, this delicate microbial balance can fall out of sync leading to bloating, changes in stool, mood changes, allergies, hormone fluctuations and more.

Common Symptoms and Conditions include, but are not limited to:

  • Abdominal bloating and/or gas

  • Acid Reflux

  • Autoimmune disease including Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis

  • Constipation

  • Diarrhea

  • Food Sensitivities/Allergies

  • Leaking Gut Syndrome

  • Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth

  • Yeast Overgrowth

HORMONE

IMBALANCES

All of hormones naturally fluctuate throughout our lives and our lifestyle and environmental exposures may affect the smoothness of those transitions. Balance is key to healthy hormones as they all interact with each other quite beautifully if we understand them.

Common Symptoms and Conditions include, but are not limited to:

  • Blood Sugar Instability

  • Endometriosis

  • Fatigue

  • Hashimoto’s thyroiditis

  • Headaches

  • Hypo- and hyperthyroidism

  • Infertility

  • Irregular periods

  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

  • Perimenopause/Menopause

  • Premenstrual Syndrome

Mast Cell Activation Syndrome

Also known as MCAS, this is a multi-systemic immune condition where too much histamine can affect the skin, digestive system, brain, joints, hormones and more.

Common Symptoms and Conditions include, but are not limited to:

  • Abdominal bloating and/or gas

  • Acid Reflux

  • Anxiety

  • Blood Sugar Instability

  • Constipation

  • Diarrhea

  • Food Sensitivities/Allergies

  • Headaches

  • Hives

  • Joint Pain

  • Lightheadedness with standing

  • Muscle Pain

  • Skin Itching

  • Urinary Frequency

In general, successful treatment is based on multiple factors: a patient’s history and conditions, doctor-patient communication, open mindedness on both sides and the appropriate treatment.
