Meet with the Doctor
Dr. Thalia aims to break the mold of your past experience with doctors and healthcare. The process begins with a 90-minute initial consult that most patients remark to be their most comprehensive yet. She reviews any previous lab work or imaging and takes time to listen to your story to understand where you need support. At this initial visit, you both will agree upon any necessary follow-up testing and/or treatment.

Customized Preventive Testing
We are able to provide customized healthcare using a number of testing tools to cater to your personal and family history. In combination with your history, Dr. Thalia takes all of results and synthesizes them into information you can use to improve your health and stay ahead of the game.
- Hormone Testing
Hormone balance has the ability to change how we interact with the world by affecting our attitude, mood, drive, and quality of life. Dr. Thalia has a very holistic and functional view of our hormones and uses various forms of testing to get the most accurate information. The three main areas she assesses are thyroid hormones, adrenal hormones, and sex hormones.
- Digestive Analysis
Digestive analysis is an incredible tool for those affected by digestive issues, fibromyalgia, skin conditions, mood, and more. This testing looks at the bugs that inhabit the digestive tract and looks for any imbalances to the system. When the healthy bacteria are thrown off, it adds stress to the immune system and affects multiple systems.
- Nutrient Analysis
Our energy, vitality, and health are greatly tied to our diets and the nutrients we take in. Nutrient testing looks at protein, fat, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants to ensure your diet is balanced in the building blocks you need.
- Cardiovascular and Cholesterol Testing
The current research shows the leading cause of death in America, heart disease, is far more complex than cholesterol alone. These unique tests take a magnified look at contributing factors: cholesterol quantity and quality, inflammation, hormones, and genetics.
- Diabetes Testing
Diabetes is a preventable disease that is extremely modifiable with dietary and lifestyle changes. The testing she offers looks at hormones associated with hunger and blood sugar balance. Balancing blood sugar can affect one’s response to stress, weight loss, and prevent cumulative tissue damage.
- Inflammatory Markers
More and more research is supporting that inflammation is the root of all chronic diseases. The sophisticated testing we use goes beyond basic inflammatory markers and is able to give insight in how inflammation and the immune system interact. These tests have been beneficial in those affected by heart disease and autoimmune diseases like Rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s hypothyroid, Psoriasis, and more.
- Food Sensitivity Testing
Food sensitivity testing is valuable in identifying potential triggers of chronic inflammation. The 95 foods tested include dairy (casein, whey), eggs, wheat (gluten, gliadin), nuts, soy, corn, and more. This test serves as a helpful guide in food elimination challenges and has helped people resolve digestive issues, skin issues, asthma, and autoimmune diseases despite prior “normal” allergy testing.
- Brain Chemistry Analysis for Sleep and Stress
With just a simple kit you can take home, we are able to look at the chemicals that control mood, cravings, energy, anxiety, sleep and more. This test is sometimes done in conjunction with the stress hormone panel.
- Stress Hormone Panel
We often only think of stress as mental or emotional, but physical issues like inflammation, food sensitivities, chronic infections and more can impact our stress response. This test takes a close look at the stress hormone, cortisol, to observe your response to stress throughout the course of the day.
- Heavy Metal Testing
The unfortunate truth is that our earth is becoming increasing more toxic. Heavy metals impact multiple areas of health: cardiovascular function, memory, autoimmune diseases, neurologic conditions and more. Provocative urine heavy metal testing is the gold standard for evaluating your heavy metal risk.
- Telomere Length for anti-aging
How old am I genetically? Telomeres protect our chromosomes from deterioration and as we age, the length of telomeres tends to become shorter. A simple blood test can analyze the length of your telomeres to evaluate your genetic age.
- Functional Genetic Testing
Genetic testing is the wave of the future, but we are continuing to learn how important diet and lifestyle is in the expression of genes. Functional genetic testing gives insight on your body’s ability to detoxify, use and absorb nutrients. Having this information allows us to turn your weaknesses into strengths.
- Diet/Lifestyle Modifications
With our digestive system being at the core of our health, diet modifications are often prescribed. Diets are customized based on your health conditions, test results, and lifestyle. Dr. Thalia strives to equip you with the tools necessary to be successful in implementing the necessary changes.
- Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine is where the wisdom of traditional medicine meets modern research. Herbs can be used to treat numerous conditions, both acute and chronic. Herbal medicine produces results and does not have the side effect profile most medications do when used under the supervision of a professional.
- Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy (BHRT)
BHRT is used to manage hormone issues like PMS, low testosterone and menopause. Unlike hormones used historically derived from horse urine, these hormones look identical to the hormones produced the body to be safer. BHRT improves quality of life, but can also be preventive for conditions like cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis.
